MARIE ANTOINETTE SUCKS – KELLER
M. Antoinette Sucks” is a Keller bier, literally “cellar beer” is a type of beer typical of East Germany.
They are beers characterized by the absence of filtration and a relatively fast maturation. They are therefore slightly cloudy and not very carbonated compared to their Teutonic sisters.
Lucky Brews together with The Lure brewery in Gorizia have decided to reproduce this type of beer, adding an unusual ingredient such as stale bread from their respective tap rooms.
Leftover bread, which has become stale and therefore no longer usable but still edible, has been included in the recipe to try to avoid food waste.
The 5% alc. it has a light amber color given by the Munich, Vienna and Pils malts of our production. The hopping of Perle and Mittelfrühe is delicate and unobtrusive, with a gentle and persuasive bitterness. The scents of bread and biscuits are perceptible and persuasive and call to drink in company to enjoy this drink produced with a food that has always been a source of livelihood for the people.
